Executive Team

Greg Oslan, Chief Executive Officer and President

Greg Oslan brings to Narus a strong history of executive and managerial success. He also has a strong background in raising capital and consulting for growth companies. Prior to joining Narus, Greg was president and chief executive officer for Wireless Online, a provider of smart antenna solutions to the wireless industry. Earlier, he served as president and chief operating officer for CNET, Inc., a wireless operational support system company, where he effectively executed a turnaround strategy and acquisition. During his ten years with Ameritech Corporation, Greg was the director of wireless data marketing and director of business development for Ameritech Mobile Communications and held other management roles within the Ameritech Bell Group. He began his career with AT&T. Greg has consulted to many companies over the years successfully leading several through capital raising, restructuring, and divestitures. He also started an early stage venture capital fund in Dallas in 1998.

Greg earned his master’s degree in business administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and completed his bachelor’s degree in quantitative business analysis from Indiana University.


Paul Farmer, Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer

Paul Farmer brings over 25 years of financial and executive management experience to Narus. Prior to joining Narus, Paul was the chief financial officer of Xoft, a leading medical equipment manufacturer. Paul has served as CFO of numerous public and private companies, including IPIX, Buzzsaw.com, CCAi, TCSI and TSCC. He is a results-oriented financial executive with proven experience working with growth-oriented companies, in both the private and public markets. Additional positions Paul has held include being a partner with Tatum, LLC, a nationwide senior financial executive consulting firm and was a Senior Audit Manager with PriceWaterhouseCoopers.

Paul is a CPA and has an accounting degree from the University of Illinois and earned an MBA from the University of Chicago.


Dr. Antonio Nucci, Chief Technology Officer

In his career, Antonio has published more than 70 technical papers, filed 25 patent applications, ten of which being awarded covering various aspects of networking. He is the co-author of a definitive textbook on managing large IP networks, titled “Design, Measurement and Management of Large-Scale IP Networks. Bridging the gap between Theory and Practice” published by Cambridge University Press in December 2008. He recently joined the Technical Advisory Board of Panorama Capital LLC (spin-off of JP Morgan) to advice on emerging technologies and trends. Antonio was recently awarded the prestigious InfoWorld 2007 CTO Top 25.

Antonio received the Dr. Ing (B.S. and M.S.) and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Politecnico di Torino, Italy.


Yogi Mistry, Senior Vice President, Worldwide Engineering

Yogi Mistry brings to Narus significant software development, telecommunication industry and offshoring expertise. He has successfully driven execution of projects and achieved objectives across diverse cultural organizations and functions. Prior to joining Narus, Yogi was the Vice President and General Manager for Global Efficient Solution, Inc. Previous to Global Efficient Solutions, Mistry held positions including vice president of Development and Operation at Lumenare Networks, where he managed software and product development of Lab Automation and Test Automation Software; and as vice president of Development at Accelerated Networks, Mistry managed the global engineering team dispersed throughout the US and India. Prior to Accelerated, Mistry was the vice president of engineering at Harris Corp.

Raised in India, Mr. Mistry moved to the United States where he earned his MS in Computer Engineering, Executive MBA from Pepperdine, and undergraduate degree BTech from India.


Christopher Swan, Senior Vice President of Global Sales, Marketing and Services

Christopher Swan has more than two decades of demonstrated success in sales and customer relations, Swan will be responsible for leading Narus’ worldwide sales force and overseeing strategic partnerships. Prior to joining Narus, Swan was senior vice president of sales, marketing and alliances for Syndesis, Ltd., where he created and led record setting growth-strategy initiatives and drove the overhaul of the company’s brand and marketing programs. He was also the vice president of global sales for Spirent Communications, Inc. where, for over a decade, he drove revenue to record levels and expanded the company into new markets and technology domains.

Mr. Swan earned his B.S. degree from Virginia Tech. 


Charles Meyo, Vice President, Global Channels and Americas/Asia Sales

Charles Meyo brings a wealth of telecommunications channel knowledge and over 18 years sales leadership experience to Narus. With a proven track-record in leading sales organizations and expanding a company’s global footprint, Chuck is tasked with driving Narus’products through channels around the world. Prior to joining Narus, Chuck was the vice president of the IBM Global Accounts and Alliances organization at Avaya. He was responsible for Avaya’s overall global relationship with IBM, the company’s largest and most strategic partner delivering more than $182 million in sales a year. Pior to Avaya, He held a variety of successful sale and sales management roles at Lucent Technologies and AT&T.  

Chuck earned his bachelors degree in Marketing and Organizational Communications from The Ohio State University.


Jay Thomas, Vice President, Global Services

Jay Thomas brings to Narus an extensive background in telecommunications, with vast experience in development, technology, technical marketing, and alliances. He began his career as an engineer for a major carrier in the development of telecommunications digital carrier equipment. Later, Jay joined ROLM/IBM/Siemens, where he was responsible for leading numerous successful projects as vice president of messaging development and vice president of technology. Most recently, Jay provided consulting services for several start-ups, helping companies differentiate themselves by bridging their technology knowledge to business value and opportunity.

Jay has a master’s degree in electrical engineering from Santa Clara University in California and a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. He holds five technology patents and is an elected school board member in his community


Les Niles, Vice President, Architecture and Product Management

Dr. Les Niles has over 20 years of experience in creating innovative software systems and leading their development. He began his career at AT&T Bell Laboratories, working in speech recognition. Later he joined Xerox PARC, where he was part of a team that built one of the first hosted applications delivering software-as-a-service over the web. He has also worked at two early-to mid-stage startups, and as a consultant for clients ranging from small companies to Intel and the US Government. At Narus he drives the evolution of NarusInsight Traffic Intelligence, leading the architecture and product management teams.

Les received a BS degree in Physics from Caltech and a PhD degree in Electrical Engineering from Brown University.  He is inventor on six US patents and six foreign patents.
