World’s Largest Communications Billing Event Recognizes Narus with Prestigious Award — 5th Narus Award This Year Billing World 2003 Awards Narus “Best Wireless Billing Software”

Narus mediation products selected by more tier-one carriers in Europe, the Americas, and Asia

Palo Alto CA, July 1, 2003 —Narus, today announced that it was awarded “Best Wireless Billing Software” at the Billing World Excellence Awards at TeleStrategies Billing World 2003, the largest conference and exhibit showcase in the world devoted to telecommunications billing. Narus received the award at an awards gala held in Miami Florida. A panel of industry experts and analysts nominated Narus for this award and the senior editorial board of BillingWorld & OSS Today magazine made the final selection. This is Narus fifth award in 2003.

The award was received at the Excellence Awards dinner on June 23. In receiving the award, the senior staff of BillingWorld & OSS Today highlighted Narus success with such customers as KDDI (Japan’s largest 3rd generation mobile operator), KPN (one of the largest mobile operators in Europe), and T-Mobile USA (one of the largest mobile operators in the United States). The publisher of BillingWorld & OSS Today, Jill Lucas Morgan presented the award to Narus citing Narus’ MobileSight product which helps bill for data services, such as access and content for SMS, MMS, ringtones, games and instant messaging. Narus’ product has been selected by tier 1 mobile operators on three continents with 100 percent of the company’s existing tier 1 mobile customers making repeat purchases.
