Narus Announces Murali Sitaram as Vice President of Engineering

New Appointment Strengthens Narus’ Leadership Team and Helps Drive Continued Innovation

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.—March 14, 2006—Narus, Inc. today announced the appointment of Murali Sitaram as vice president of world wide engineering. Sitaram brings extensive global experience successfully evolving and delivering innovative technologies to Narus’ engineering teams in Mountain View, Calif. and Bangalore, India.

Sitaram joins Narus most recently from Aspect Communications, where he managed an extended team of engineers and was responsible for many of the company’s core product lines. During his tenure there, Sitaram was a key contributor in forming Aspect’s vision and strategy. One of his key contributions at Aspect was to architect the company’s offshore development strategy.

Prior to Aspect, Sitaram held positions including vice president of Research and Development for CRM at Avaya, and as senior vice president of engineering at Quintus Corporation. During his tenure at Avaya, Sitaram was responsible for all engineering and technology-related activities for the company’s CRM products and managed a team of nearly 500 engineers at various locations world wide. Under his leadership, the team surpassed their goals in product delivery and customer satisfaction.
