Leading Central South American Carrier Selects Narus for Traffic Anomaly Detection, Billing Mediation and Lawful Intercept Applications

Mountain View, Calif., April 12, 2005�AXS Bolivia, the premier integrated communications provider in Central South America, today announced that it selected Narus, Inc., the world’s leading Carrier-Class IP Platform software provider, to deliver four Narus IP Platform-based applications: Traffic Anomaly Detection, Billing Mediation, NarusLI (Lawful Intercept), and NarusView. These applications will enable AXS Bolivia to control network traffic, detect anomalies and manage billing in real-time within a highly competitive telecommunications market.

  • Narus IP Mediation for Billing - provides prepaid and postpaid billing configurations for revenue assurance at the highest volumes and speeds.
  • NarusLI - features a warrant management system, subject targeting and delivery to global LEA (Law Enforcement Authorities) standards.
  • NarusView - enables real-time visualization of network traffic to IT and Network Managers for traffic analysis and performance management.
