Industry Veteran Brings Global Development Expertise to Drive Continued Technology Innovations
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., November 6, 2007—Narus, Inc., the leader in carrier-class security and traffic intelligence for the world’s largest IP networks, today announced the appointment of Yogi Mistry as senior vice president of worldwide engineering. Mistry brings extensive global software development and telecommunications expertise to Narus’ engineering teams in Mountain View, Calif. and Bangalore, India.
Mistry joins Narus most recently from Global Efficient Solutions, Inc., where he worked with clients to establish offshore development centers in India for high-tech US-based companies. Key responsibilities in this role included hiring country leads, developing the engineering teams and establishing their domain knowledge so they could quickly provide software development and technical support for their clients.
Prior to Global Efficient Solutions, Mistry held senior engineering positions including vice president of Development and Operation at Lumenare Networks, where he managed software and product development of Lab Automation and Test Automation Software; and as vice president of Development at Accelerated Networks, where he managed the global engineering team dispersed throughout the US and India. Prior to Accelerated, Mistry was the vice president of engineering at Harris Corp.
