TELKOMNet Chooses NarusInsight to Protect its Network
Narus, Integrated With Cisco Guard, Provides Complete Anomaly Detection and Mitigation Solution
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., April 8, 2008 — Narus, Inc., the leader in traffic intelligence for the protection and management of the world’s largest IP networks, today announced that its NarusInsight™ Secure Suite (NSS) now protects TELKOMNet, the premier Internet service provider in Indonesia, from distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) and other malicious attacks. Narus, working closely with Cisco and Datacomm, an Indonesian systems integrator, provides TELKOMNet with a comprehensive, fully managed detection and mitigation security system. This announcement comes on the heels of Narus’ certification within the Cisco Technology Developer Program.

System integrator Datacomm was able to quickly and easily deploy NSS across TELKOMNet’s network. Furthermore, Narus’ industry-leading traffic intelligence capabilities coupled with Cisco Guard’s mitigation solution was able to instantly address the security risks of DDoS attacks for TELKOMNet.
